It’s certainly a long overdue update for Skype, and comes as Android wearables start to pick up wider adoption in the mainstream. Users can also accept or decline calls from their Android Wear device with the update, but must use their smartphone to continue the conversation. It doesn’t mean carrying on Skype phone calls from smart watches, at least not for now.

One thing is certain, this Skype app for Android has now got a whole lot better, and so can compete with a few of those comparable Apple Watch features.
